These Stanford employees in red (ushers, bag searchers etc) take their jobs TOO DAMN SERIOUSLY which takes ALL THE FUN out of being a spectator. There has NEVER, repeat NEVER,  been a serious threat or even a problem of drunkeness etc at a Stanford sport event. 

The RED PEOPLE literally are so bored to death because of good behavior, they have to find,  or create things, to NITPICK about to give them a sense of purpose.

 It's really SAD 😡.Berkeley doesn't have this problem. The "watchers" there are laid back 😎and cool and make it an enjoyable experience, and includes younger people as well as African-Americans. Why has the fun- loving Stanford community been inflicted with the Red Plague ⁉️

My guess is that Stanford instructed their so-called security people (or  however you describe those people in  obnoxious total red uniforms at every single event: ushers, watchers, mostly elderly people who perform various functions mostly MICRO- MANAGEMENT in nature) to make sure people are not videotaping an entire sporting event for commercial purposes, personal profit etc 

So this lady sees me come in and start videotaping the first minute or so of the event (beach volleyball) . She either  misunderstands the memo & concludes that there should be no video taping at all by any individual, or she erroneously assumes I'm going to continue taping for the next 60 minutes. If it's the former, she needs to be reinstructed. If She still can't comprehend it,  she needs to be fired.

 If it's the latter, she needs to watch and observe the person with the camera for more than 60 seconds before concluding this person is trying to film the entire event. Seems like she should be watching any "suspect" for at least 10 minutes or so to see if the camera stays up the entire time. 

I had just arrived and had only been video taping maybe a minute or so which is usually what I do and then I'll sit and watch and usually leave early (to be honest, I get bored at beach volleyball contests pretty quickly)

I have been a part of the stanford community for a long time. Usually it's a good experience even though I tend to lean a little more towards the RIGHT politically than many of the lefties around campus. Nonetheless, usually everybody respects the differences as long as  people don't impose themselves on others in an appropriate manner.

 However, I DO have the right to promote my political views on my vehicle wherever I go, on or off campus, just as lefties do. So recently as we approach the November 5 2024 election I placed a page-size paper on my back window telling people my political position (no, it did not include the word "Trump", even though that would be legally protected as well).

The morning after the Stanford-SMU game I found somebody had vandalized my car, pulling my political promotion off the window. I have an video camera that automatically activates that DID CATCH the face of the person who did it and will be reporting it to the police. 

Large or small acts of vandalism are nonetheless PROSECUTABLE . And YES I will press charges. I don't care how emotionally passionate you are about your lefty views. You will still be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law if you vandalize my vehicle by intentionally touching it in any way. 

Also to Stanford Administration: Please warn students that no matter how passionate they may be for or against a political person, they ARE NOT ALLOWED to commit criminal acts because of their emotional passion. Please warn them that they can and will be expelled from Stanford if they are caught committing crimes.

12/8/23 I've been coming to Stanford Memorial Church ⛪ for many years now, & tonight I attended the sing-along Christian worship ("festival of lessons & carols") which I thought would include the Catholics &  be ecumenical, but it turned out to be mostly composed of  the group led by the black leader from the Sunday 11am progressive service,  which is fine (although I'm not progressive, but conservative). However I would have liked if it had included the Catholics.

 Nonetheless, it started out nice & peaceful -very Christmas-y music . However, around halfway through the service I noticed a lady standing in back of me pacing & then she was kind of wandering around almost like a tourist looking at the walls maybe taking pictures I wasn't sure, & apparently not interested in being here for the service. This is usually frowned upon during a worship service. So I looked back and kind of gave her a hard stare to tell her that she was being bothersome. She apparently didn't care if she was being bothersome,  but she did disappear for a while. 

Then, near the end of the service she reappeared and stood closely behind me. I noticed a few others looking back at her as well as if wondering what she was doing. Stanford students aren't used to being watched by a security guard- you don't get into Stanford by being a bad boy or girl. And you don't need a babysitter. Anyways, I decided to leave a few seconds early because of her creepy presence (yes, some females can be creepy too sometimes) plus I had to get somewhere. 

So I went out the side door & she followed me. At this point, I'm like what the heck is going on? This is turning into harassment. Apparently she didn't even know what was behind the door that I went out, so I don't know what she's doing- like she's pretending to be a security guard or what's going on?! she obviously doesn't know the way things we work around Stanford. Police & security here are usually very low key and cool, NOT suspicious of everybody. 

I think she was kind of African-American, or dark skinned,  but it wasn't obvious exactly her race or ethnicity. She watched me go out the door and looked outside as if she had never seen this side of the church before. So either she was an imposter, or they assigned her to be some kind of attendant even though it was her first time there, which isn't very wise- if she doesn't even know the layout of the church,  & so everything seems suspicious to her. 

There's also a restroom in this hallway . which  would be another practical reason to go through this door & happens periodically during church services. Needless to say,  if this happens again I will make a complaint about her & whoever assigned her to do this, if such is the case.  If you just grab people and ask them to be an attendant or "play security" you need to have give them a little training first, & make sure they have practical skills as well as people skills, and aren't suspicious of everything that moves, or hopefully not just because I'm white at a black-led service. Can you imagine a white person doing this towards a black person? 

Furthermore, my family are big donors to Stanford and they will not be happy to hear about this. None of us here  need to be watched or observed or monitored. I am a very good person & a  good citizen & apparently I've been coming here much longer than this lady who appeared to be here for the first time. And suddenly she's a security guard,  or a wannabee?   That's not the way it works around the Stanford I know. Never has, never will. And at a Christmas service of all things. Good grief. Shame on you 👎.

I found a guy's wallet in the downstairs computer lab and saw the name inside, so I looked it up online and he turned out to be a UCI employee. I found an email to contact him & told him to come and get it or else I will bring it to the desk. He came within an hour to get his wallet but he Didn't Even Say Thanks or show any appreciation to me. 

Even worse he treated me like I was the Bad Guy For Contacting Him to help him get his wallet back which included money in it. I wasn't expecting a reward but a Genuine Thanks would have been nice. GO FIGURE THAT. How many people would try to contact him to

 help him get it back ⁉️

I haven't experienced a bush league amateur hour Michigan thing like this since I grew up here. So I'm just visiting- am actually spending thousands of saved up dollars 💰 on a trip as a Christian evangelist. I'm trying to encourage fellow Americans to have New Hope and confidence and courage to go forth and do what is right no matter who the president is.

 So I pull in here and it was just coincidental that there's a concert here 🎹🎺🎼.

 So I just sit back in my car for a while & listen and then I take a little stroll as they are playing their music and I make a little video of it. Then I glance thru the binoculars on the kiosk and some of those you don't have to pay but this when you have to put in a quarter.

 Not a big deal. I don't need to look in the binoculars. There's nothing to see out there that I can't see with my naked eye. So I keep walking down towards the beach. The next thing I know there's some kids following me & the boy says "Do you want a quarter?" 

Their parents must have sent them to embarrass me by offering me a quarter like I'm some kind of homeless person who can't afford to put a quarter in the binocular thing. Does this make you feel BIG parents?.

FYI, I'm NOT poor I'm NOT homeless. I'm spending thousands of dollars 💰 traveling across America for the sake of America 🇱🇷.

 And this is Manistee- not exactly a bastion of wealth. YOU CANT fooo me. I see what I see. But I'm not looking down my nose at you so you don't have to try to create a little memorable fiction to make yourselves feel better. 

The reality is 👉YOU👈 are poor parents with children and you feel insecure about it. So you have your kids offer a wealthy person a quarter and get a little kick out it.

 I'm one of you- a fellow American - it doesn't matter how much money you have or don't have. Don't wear your insecurity on your sleeves by doing this kind of BUSH-LEAGUE nonsense. Don't be so small and petty 👎.

I'm CONCERNED that there's a slow but sure creep of certain types of people, including some employees, into this Library & they're dishonestly & unethically trying to take over and PUSH OUT the traditional people who have been here for so many years.

You can walk in and contest a ticket which I tried to do but I had to go back to my car to get my registration & get back in line and wait for the appeals person to call my number and after waiting 30 minutes I had to leave because my parking meter was running out and I would get another parking ticket just waiting.

The New Dr (Hasanuddin Harrison, MD ) is ok but every time I see him he asks me if I "drink" ( ie alcohol 🍺 🍷) , as if I am a drunk or something. I keep him telling him NO I do NOT drink 🚫. Even when i asked him to send my prescription to Vons pharmacy he said  "Isn't that a liquor store?" And he laughed. 

Say what? Obviously he does NOT know this area very well because anybody who does, knows that Vons is a chain of grocery stores around Southern Cal that  also has a pharmacy inside. Yes, they sell liquor just like almost every other grocery store but that does not make them a liquor store. 

Why would I ask him to send my prescription to a liquor store ? I know of no liquor store that has a pharmacy by the way. For that matter I do NOT go to liquor stores meaning those stores that sell only liquor or mostly just liquor . 

I started coming to see Dr Wong when she was actually at the older office down the street & when I was still a teacher for the LAUSD,  and I was also attending Fuller seminary working on my Masters- in- Divinity, which, like becoming a doctor, also takes a lot of work, dedication, and intelligence. 

I continue to come and go from Southern Cal and maintain an address here as I do mission work and ministry around the country and still even another parts of the world 🌎 ✝️🙏.

Now Dr Wong works in the afternoons only so I just accepted seeing the morning doctor and he seems to be alert and capable but for some reason he has a FALSE IMPRESSION about me and drinking alcohol. Even after my blood test show that I'm in pretty good health.

 The main reason I come to see the doctor is for CHRONIC PAIN in my left side and especially my leg probably related to the cervical spine or lumbar , as well as possible bursitis or arthritis.

 I hope this reaches somebody in the office and maybe they can print it out and hand it to him or show it to him. 

Ask me once if I drink that's reasonable,  but three times with a little bit of an insinuation starts to impugn my character 👎.

 By the way, there's nothing immoral or reckless about a little drinking in moderation. I just choose NOT to drink at this point in my life .

 And also by the way I have doctors in my extended family and I know a little thing or two about  doctor lifestyles and know they're not exactly all Puritans.

 Furthermore I also worked at hospitals around doctors as a chaplain & social worker, so I also have had some eye-opening experience working around doctors. I know the truth about doctors: the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Since the year 2000, I come to LA every year on Xmas Eve 🎁 for the holiday 🎵show at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. This year 12/24/22 , although I keep my car well maintained, I was concerned about my starter because on Christmas Eve day every time I stopped and started it got weaker and weaker to restart.

 Normally I would have parked in the parking structure at the concert hall, especially since it's free on  Christmas Eve. 🎄

But I was afraid that it would NOT restart and they might have trouble getting a tow truck inside the structure, so I parked at the nearby Burger King in an almost empty parking lot. Then I went to the concert for a few hours.When I came back to my car, as I feared, it would Not start again. 

So I was stuck there overnight on Christmas Eve and did not want to leave my car alone for fear of it getting broken into, so I had to stay with it all night. 

On Xmas Day  no repair shops are open so I was trying to think about what to do.  I was pretty sure that at least the manager or owner of the Burger King 🍔 would be gracious about it on Christmas day. At least I was close to the Catholic Cathedral and was able to attend the Christmas Mass at 8:00 a.m. and then at 10:00 a.m. as well.  ⛪

But  around 1:00 p.m. here comes a tow truck and he starts telling me I got to get it OUT OF THE LOT NOW or he's going to tow me to impound with all the extra fees and everything. So I go inside to talk to the manager,  and the female manager inside said she did NOT call the tow truck. 

 So I went back outside and the guy is already putting my car up on his tow truck.  I frantically yell " STOP STOP NO " and tell the driver that this manager said she did not call for a tow truck.

So the driver tells me it was the head honcho who called - (a male manager.) I don't know if he called  last night or maybe he called in from his home on Christmas Day,  he was so ANGRY 😡 about it for some reason. 

So this manager was so freaking vexatious about getting my car out of there ON CHRISTMAS DAY he couldn't wait one extra day when every repair shop would be open.

 I had one LAST CHANCE to try to start it before this tow truck driver was going to pull me out of there ( and charge me money 💰),...

So I turned the key 🗝️ & it sluggishly turned over & it was one of those split second moments if it didn't start it wouldn't start, but if it did I was out of there .

And just by a Miracle-  I believe it was a Christmas Miracle (praise the Lord)- the car started and I was able to drive out of there, NO THANKS to the Burger King manager who couldn't wait till the day after Christmas to do business as usual 👎.

And you wonder why there's a homeless problem. A situation like this could have added one extra homeless to the list, rather than alleviate the problem. 

Getting your car towed to impound and paying the fees to get it out of impound  probably now starts around $500 in L.A. And it was totally unnecessary.  It was a holiday- not very busy- the BK manager could have waited until the next business day (Monday December 26th) to  request a tow to remove my vehicle.

But he would NOT have had to do so: 

I have my Own tow service (Better World)  and I would have been towed to a nearby open auto repair shop and everything would have been quickly solved. This really left a bad taste in my mouth towards this BK manager 👎.

I will also send a letter to Burger King corporate just reporting why this was totally unnecessary and a lack of  Christmas or holiday spirit and TOTAL LACK of normal humanitarian compassion 👎.

A street in front of St Bernard church in @CityBellflower has 10 signs, 10 poles:  

7 say "NO PARKING Sat/Sun"; 

The other 3 say

"NO PARKING Friday."

Normally u put ALL restrictions on the same poles. But here they expect u to walk the ENTIRE STREET & read EACH sign.

So I pull up to the sign that says   "no parking Saturday or Sunday" and today is Friday. I park & go to church & come back & find a $57 citation on my windshield.

So I look at the sign again & it still says  "no parking Saturday or Sunday" and it's still Friday I walk to the next sign & says the same thing & the next sign says the same.

There's 10 signs : seven of which say "no parking Sat/Sun" ; three of which say "no parking Friday" so if you miss one of the three (out of 10) you get a $57 ticket.  

Why don't they put ALL the signs on the same pole like most municipalities do & according to Uniform Code?

Because it's intended to trap people, like a speed trap at the bottom of a hill. Or they added some later in a lazy manner & are too lazy to fix it ? 

The uniform code for parking signage actually requires  the MOST CLARITY POSSIBLE. This is a BIG FAIL at a visitor's expense. Or it's a success if it's intended to be a money maker for Bellflower. 

And why does Bellflower outsource the parking appeals to Tustin, a whole different county, to an alleged judge who rubber stamps a denial of the appeal and won't even sign his/her name ? Maybe because nobody actually reads it ? No actual judge ?

HOLLYWOOD CHRISTMAS PARADE,...IT rained on the parade,part of time,then paused,and the parade paused as well,for more than 30 minutes...maybe 60,...I left after waiting for half-an-hour,& it was still paused,nobody knew why. Who organizes this parade? I realize it is made forTV but still...lot of people are waiting on the sidewalk to watch,..& I'm sure the participants aren't too thrilled about waiting an extra hour or more to go.

10/10 not 10/11, African Lady Gave Me Plastic Rosary Beads

AFRICAN LADY gave me a cheap set of plastic rosary beads at st. catherine laboure church...didn't need or want them..but she insisted...& I wasn't sure what to make of it..was this her subtle way of being condescending towards me...thinking "the poor American man"...she never saw me before at this church so she assumes I've never been to church before...ha ha..ive been to this church numerous times...I haven't see her either..but i didn't assume she's never been there..what concerns me is that some people use the "facade of evangelism" to create a hierarchy...as if the church is a 'pyramid scheme"...and that getting a new recruit or convert is getting somebody to join the ladder beneath you...maybe making you feel a little more powerful or higher on the scale...but the CHURCH IS NOT A PYRAMID SCHEME ! We will not be good or "successful" evangelists if we think we are better than those we are trying to lead to Christ...because we are NOT BETTER...maybe even WORSE?! IRONIC YES, but being saved does not immediately make us BETTER persons...although it should over time make us better..but sometimes false evangelists enter into the church because they think it is a pyramid scheme..a ladder to climb..beware of such persons..IN CHRIST WE ARE co-equals..and should be treating each other as such respectfully...let's hope & pray she was sincere, albeit mistaken in approaching me as a new recruit, somebody who needed a set of cheap plastic rosary beads to become a better or true Christian or Catholic.

shame on the miramar store near the air show gate (october 2014)

so I went to the Miramar Air Show ...always a great big show there..and all the military men & women help out with traffic and screening etc..and they are exceptionally polite and nice ...but at the miramar convenience store where there's a subway & taco bell etc..where I bought a 99 cent arizona green tea & a cliff bar... it's a different story..almost every time I went in there I felt as if they were spying on me...as if they thought I was a shoplifter..they always say "Will that be all for you" with emphasis when they want you to know they are trying to marginalize you as a shoplifter...le me be MORE CLEAR...there are those who are "social engineering" and they may be very well aware that you are NOT a shoplifter, nor have any such propensity as such, but they want to 'MOLD' you into the category to marginalize you..and "shape shift" ...that was what I felt was happening at this little story at miramar ...thanks to "'associate" SSGT" et al...
